Sealy just came out with a new lineup of their entry level mattresses (below their Posturepedic lineup in overall quality), and as usual, different retailers have different names for essentially the same mattress. This can make it difficult to comparison shop for the best price. This is a guide to compare these Sealy mattresses between retailers. Whether you saw a mattress in store and want to find a lower price online, or saw a mattress online and want to try it in a store first, this chart can help. (To jump directly to the chart, click here)

Since these are lower end mattresses, I don’t recommend them for every night use for the next 10 years (except maybe the higher end pillowtop one). These are best for temporary use (3-5 years) or for guest rooms. As always, I recommend going into a showroom and trying out the mattress before purchasing. For greater detail on how to select the proper mattress, visit my mattress buying guide.

Models in the same row are comparable models. Enter the model name of what you want to compare in the search box for quicker results. Click on the name to open a new window showing the price.. When you’re comparing prices, make sure you select the correct boxspring. Some retailers have the mattress and boxspring set as the default, some have just the mattress and you need to add the boxspring manually.

A few notes about the table:

  • Sleepy’s and 1800 Mattress use the same model names since they’re owned by the same company but operate as competitors. 1800 Mattress usually has the lower prices, so I linked to them. You get the same mattress delivered by the same delivery drivers in the same time frame.
  • When comparing, make sure to include the boxspring in your comparisons. Some have an easy option to click a button and add the boxspring, some have a separate page to add the boxspring.
  • Check out my coupon page to see if any retailers have a coupon to bring a price down.

I will add more retailers as they start carrying the lineup. In the meantime, if you find a Sealy (or any other) mattress you want to compare that isn’t on the chart, go to my free Mattress Comparison Shopping Service. I will personally look up comparison models for you!

Thank you again for reading!

  1. I recently slept in a Sealy Mattress and hadn’t realized comfort like that in years. That said I looked at the tag on the bed which showed model #515208, PGC # GQ40 and PC# 4069

Any chance you can provide the current model # for the same specs as Model 515208?

  2. I live 100miles from phoenix , that has a factory for sealy mattress. Will it be cheaper to buy a mattress from there outlet stores ?
