What Type of Mattress Is The PerformaSleep?

How Well Does the PerformaSleep Mattress Regulate Temperature?

The PerformaSleep mattress’ top layer is infused with 2 inches of CopperCool gel that is specially formulated to keep heat away from you. The copper conducts the heat away from your body and dispels it outwards, diminishing the typical heat-trapping that can happen in memory foam.

PerformaSleep Mattress Firmness & Feel

With a medium-firm feel, the PerformaSleep mattress is a good middle of the road option for most sleepers. The support is good for back and stomach sleepers, but it might not be soft enough for some side sleepers’ shoulders.

Is the PerformaSleep Mattress Good For Couples?

As an all-foam mattress, the PerformaSleep inherently comes with good motion isolation, which makes it good mattress for couples. As your partner moves throughout the night, the foam absorbs the motion and keeps it from waking you up.

PerformaSleep Mattress by Sleeping Positions

Back Stomach Side Combination
Medium-firmness provides the right amount of support for back sleepers to keep the spine aligned.

Medium-firmness keeps stomach sleepers’ spines aligned while also preventing their hips from sinking in. Side sleepers may find this mattress too firm to cradle their hips and shoulders. Medium-firmness is great for back and stomach sleep positions, but not for side sleep positions.

Back Sleepers: Back sleepers need a mattress that will deliver support for their backs, shoulders and hips, which is why they often go for mattresses that are higher on the firmness scale. The PerformaSleep Mattress gives back sleepers just the right amount of support to keep their spines aligned and weight distributed across the mattress evenly.

Stomach Sleepers: Stomach sleepers, like back sleepers, usually need a bed that supports their body and keeps their spines aligned, but they also require a mattress that focuses on neck support because of the way they sleep with their heads turned to the side. In addition to this, stomach sleepers need a bed that won’t cause their hips to sink in, which can also tamper with spinal alignment. With its medium-firmness, the PerformaSleep is a prime choice for stomach sleepers.

Side Sleepers: Side sleepers need a mattress that is soft enough to provide contouring for your shoulders and hips. The PerformaSleep rates at around medium-firmness, which means that it may provide the balance between soft and firm to comfortably contour to their bodies while ensuring proper support.

Combination Sleepers: Combination sleepers require a mattress that can accommodate varied sleeping positions throughout the night. The PerformaSleep is great for back and stomach sleeping positions, but side sleepers may need a softer option. Couples will also find that this mattress comes with the standard level of motion transfer found in memory foam.

The middle layer is 2 inches of Enersorb, a unique technology created by PerformaSleep engineers that allows the foam to conform to and contour with your body shape without causing you to sink into the mattress.

The top layer of the PerformaSleep Mattress consists of 2 inches of CopperCool Gel. As the name suggests, it is a layer of gel foam infused with copper, which helps it regulate temperature, ensure shape retention and stay clean. The mattress cover is made with cellulose fibers in TENCEL fiber fabric. This helps wick away moisture while also staying soft for continued comfort.
