Linenspa has made a solid reputation from designing mattresses to fit sleepers and their real lives. They do that by offering memory foam, latex and coil versions in every firmness. And they do it by pricing all of them under $600.
Linenspa offers comfortable mattresses of every type and firmness at bargain prices. They believe that less truly is more and apply that philosophy to pillows, comforters and mattress protectors, anything that might make your pursuit of quality sleep easier.
Now let’s look at the Linenspa stable of mattresses. They’re cheap, but popular with materials that luxury mattresses use. In 2018, their memory foam hybrid mattress was the best-selling mattress on Amazon. And 75 percent of buyers gave it five stars. In 2019, Linenspa wants sleepers to see how versatile a good hybrid mattress can be.
Linenspa makes quality mattresses that are easy on the wallet. I don’t say that lightly. The 8-inch hybrid made of memory foam and steel springs starts at $99 and is the best-selling mattress on Amazon. That would be enough for most people, but the Linenspa line also includes models of varying widths, firmness levels, and materials to suit nearly all sleep positions, firmness preferences and body types.

Mattress companies approach sleep position in one of three ways: (1) They build one great model with a medium-firm feel that should work for most sleepers, which is so hard to do. (2 ) They build one model using the same basic design with different densities of materials to achieve two or more firmness levels. But that often excludes very light or very heavy consumers. Or (3) they flood the zone with different models to hit a range of sleeper needs. Mattresses should never come back as “one size fits most,” so Linenspa takes route (3). We will use this mattress review to do the same. Here is a breakdown of how Linenspa mattresses can fit the needs of back, side and stomach sleepers.
Pressure relief. Contouring. Firmness. Lower back support. Side sleepers crave these mattress features, almost in equal measure. Side sleepers need all of those characteristics because the bed must curve around their shoulders and hips, the widest and heaviest parts of the body, while still supporting the lower back. Too plush and the lower back may sink. Too firm and you’re feeling too much pressure at the shoulders and hips. Anything that disrupts the straight line of your spine is bad for business. Side sleepers generally like a foam-coil hybrid when it has a medium feel. The 8-inch version is medium-firm while the 10-inch version has a medium feel. Depending on your weight, either could work for a side sleeper. The Latex hybrid, another medium-firm mattress, may also work, especially if you’re a side sleeper carrying more weight on your body.
Sleeping on your back is best for your body since your spine can rest more naturally. Back sleepers specifically need contouring for the neck and spine and support at the lower back and posterior to keep that healthy position. Medium, medium-firm and firm (for heavier sleepers) can work for back sleepers because they can keep your spine from dipping too low into the mattress. The firmer memory foam coil hybrid and the latex hybrid, with bounce and contouring, should please most back sleepers.
You run the risk of putting too much stress on your back when you sleep on your stomach. It’s an unnatural position since your weight rests on your chest (lungs), stomach and hips (spine) all night long. Stomach sleepers need a mattress that will curve around the stomach, but also support the less curvy parts. Hips especially should not too far down or you run the risk of creating an arch in your lower spine. Medium-firm foam-coil hybrids like the three models here, normally work well for stomach sleepers, but also consider the Linenspa Latex Hybrid. Latex is unique in that it will cradle curves, but still hold up the other parts of the body.

Linenspa 12-inch Gel Memory Foam Hybrid mattress is made of special foam with a gel infusion, as well as regular memory foam and individually wrapped or “pocketed” coils. You have 30 days to return a Linenspa mattress if you don’t like it. That’s it. Compared to nearly all other online mattress outfits, it is a very short trial period. Most other brands give you at least 90 days to try it and insist you sleep on it for at least 30 days before making your decision. It takes that long to adapt to any new sleep surface.
Linenspa accepts any returns within 30 days, no questions asked and will issue a full refund. Other sellers have other requirements for returning the mattress, so check with your seller. Linenspa says you may find a box and ship the mattress back to them. Or you can donate it and show the donation receipt to Linenspa to initiate a return.
Linenspa Home offers a 10-year limited warranty on their mattresses if there are any defects in materials or workmanship errors that hinder how the mattress is supposed to work. The warranty doesn’t cover problems caused by abusing the mattress or normal wear and tear. It does cover visible sags over 1.5 inches.
Linenspa mattresses ship compressed in a box, completely free within the continental United States, and will arrive between 5-7 days after ordering.
Linenspa mattresses are currently available at all major online retailers, like Amazon, Wayfair, WalMart, etc.—as well as online at their own website.
In summary, if you are looking for a quality mattress at an economical price point, Linenspa may be the brand for you. All models in the Linenspa line will be good for young people, guest bedrooms, and anyone needing a new mattress who isn’t ready to spend a lot of money. There are enough design features to please different types of sleepers, but these mattresses are not long-term investments.
