Saatva Solaire by Sleeping Positions

Back Sleepers

Back sleepers will enjoy the higher firmness options on the Saatva Solaire Mattress because it keeps their spines aligned and offers proper support for their shoulders, hips, legs, and feet. The memory foam layers also help cradle your back so that you will find pressure relief no matter which firmness option you choose.

Side Sleepers

The best mattresses for side sleepers offer a high level support for the hips and shoulders and promote spine alignment, which is why they usually go for softer mattresses. The Saatva Solaire Mattress, with its remote control firmness customization options, means that the softer settings allow for side sleepers to rest comfortably without having to worry about stress on their pressure points.

Stomach Sleepers

Stomach sleepers have similar sleep personalities as back sleepers in that they need support for their shoulders, hips, legs, and feet, but also for their necks since they sleep with their heads turned to the side. The Saatva Solaire’s higher firmness levels, combined with the memory foam layer, offer exceptional support for your neck and reduces pressure on sensitive areas. It’s important to note that softer settings may cause your hips to sink, so we recommend higher firmness settings for stomach sleepers.

Combination Sleepers

Combination sleepers require a bed that can handle all of the aforementioned sleeping positions. The Saatva Solaire Mattress’s 50 firmness options means that you can make the bed softer for side sleepers, and firmer for stomach and back sleepers. Saatva’s advanced motion isolation is an important feature for couples that are combination sleepers and share a bed since it prevents them from disturbing each other while changing positions.

Saatva Solaire Firmness

The Saatva Solaire Mattress has the unique feature where users can select from 50 firmness options, with 1 being the softest and 50 being the most firm, making this one of the best firm mattresses, if you want it to be. On the standard mattress firmness scale, the Saatva Solaire Mattress can fall between 4 and 8 out of 10, with the average setting being 5. This puts the mattress at a medium level of firmness that’s not too soft or too firm.

Saatva Solaire Construction

The Saatva Solaire Mattress consists of six different layers, which work together to deliver maximum comfort for side, back, stomach, and combination sleepers.

The base layer of the Saatva Solaire Mattress has a power edge enclosure that reinforces support around the perimeter of your mattress. An in-rail air inflator, responsible for controlling the mattress firmness levels, is both quiet and invisible, and is virtually unnoticeable by sleepers. The next layer is where the vulcanized air chambers are located.

These chambers are part of a multi-directional box construction that delivers consistent support for your entire body, no matter which firmness option you choose. The following layer is the moisture barrier, which protects bacteria from growing on internal components and provides you with a healthy sleep environment. Next is the gel-infused memory foam layer that contours to your body and keeps your spine aligned while simultaneously keeping you cool.

The memory foam layer is also CertiPUR-US certified, meaning no harmful chemicals were used in its construction. On top of that layer is the 5-zone natural Talalay latex layer. This naturally hypoallergenic material delivers 5-zone back support and pressure point relief. Finally, the top layer of the mattress is the organic cotton cover pillow top, which adds an extra layer of cushioning for maximum comfort.

After placing your order, you will be able to schedule a delivery for a time that is most convenient to you. The day before your mattress is due to be delivered, you will receive a call with a four-hour time window to expect your mattress. If you need to cancel, you will not be charged.

The premium white-glove delivery means the delivery drivers will hand-deliver your new mattress to your room of choice, set it up, and remove and dispose of your old mattress for no cost at all.

In the event that you are not home when the delivery drivers arrive, they will wait 20 minutes as a courtesy. If you miss the delivery window completely, you can call and reschedule your delivery at no cost, or cancel the order for a full refund, but you may incur a $99 transportation cost.

Saatva returns are hassle-free. If you are unhappy with your mattress during your 120-night trial period, you can return it at no cost except a $99 labor and gas fee. Returned mattresses are never resold and are instead donated to veterans’ shelters or offered to employees and associates within the Saatva network.
